Ru Yuan specializes in Tanjia-style cooking, the most famous Chinese dishes reserved for the royal families. Tanjia-style uses stir-frying, stewing, simmering and steaming for food preparation. It is well-known for the ingenious ways of preparing dried and preserved ingredients, producing mouth-watering premium stock and different seafoods. Tanjia-style dishes are mild, popular with all palates. The natural flavors and nutrients of all foods are carefully preserved using highly-skilled cooking techniques. Encompassing nearly 300 dishes, the best-known Tanjia dishes include bird-nest stew and other seafood dishes.

Ru Yuan offers 7 individual rooms to ensure the privacy of our guests' dining pleasure. The largest room can accommodate up to 20 people, while another large room can accommodate up to 10 guests. The design of these rooms combines traditional Chinese elegance with modern considerations. In addition to the dining area, each room offers a sitting area, pantry and restroom for convenience and comfort. The heavy wooden furniture is carefully selected to reflect classical Chinese aesthetics.
